The National Lottery is a public law limited company, which is charged with organizing public lotteries, betting, competitions and games of chance in a socially-responsible manner, reliably and securely in order to channel the inclination to gamble and plough back the proceeds into society in the form of sponsorship and subsidies. The National Lottery comes under the direct supervision of the government (via the Minister of Finance and the Minister of the Budget).
