The BESF is committed to promoting the growth and development of the Esports sector. One key aspect of this effort is the creation of a legal framework that provides a clear and supportive environment for businesses and professionals in the sector to operate.
To achieve this goal, the BESF is working closely with lawmakers and government officials to develop and advocate for policies that will foster a healthy and sustainable Esports ecosystem in Belgium. This includes efforts to establish clear regulations, promote fair competition, and provide appropriate tax incentives and support for businesses operating in the sector.
Establishing partnerships and relations between different like-minded organizations as well as with government bodies is crucial for the development of the Belgian esports ecosystem and the esports sector in general. There is a growing need for collaboration between all involved actors to accelerate the industry’s progress.
The Institutional Relations pillar aims at fostering these relationships by providing a forum for the different stakeholders to connect.
