Belgian Esports Federation Sets Sights on PUBG Mobile in 2024 Expansion with the creation of a National Team.
In a strategic move aimed at tapping into the immense popularity of mobile gaming, the Belgian Esports Federation (BESF) has officially declared its entry into the competitive landscape of PUBG Mobile. The announcement comes as a testament to the federation's commitment to staying at the forefront of esports, adapting to emerging trends and providing diverse opportunities for players in the country.
The decision to embrace PUBG Mobile, a globally acclaimed battle royale game, reflects the BESF's recognition to fostering talent and innovation within the esports community in the country.
As part of this venture, the Belgian Esports Federation is gearing up to organize dedicated PUBG Mobile scouting tournaments for players across the country to showcase their skills and compete at the highest levels and to be selected within the National Team. The move is expected to catalyze a surge of interest in PUBG Mobile within Belgium, bringing together a vibrant community of mobile players.
BESF National Team Commissioner and Vice-President, Samy Bessi, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "PUBG Mobile's immersive gameplay and strategic depth make it an ideal addition to our esports repertoire. We will start slowly but the objective is to give the opportunity to the players in Belgium to represent their country.
