BESF Welcomes Liesbeth Last as Our New Educational Strategist
The Belgian Esports Federation (BESF) is proud to announce the addition of Liesbeth Last to our team as our Educational Strategist. Liesbeth brings a wealth of experience and passion to this role, with a deep commitment to integrating esports into educational settings.
Liesbeth Last is a dedicated gamer/entrepreneur, researcher at KU Leuven, educational technologist and teacher of esports. She is well-known for her monthly teaching impulse at KU Leuven, where she explores the educational potential of video games by working thematically with popular titles. In her role as an esports teacher at KTA Bruges, Liesbeth emphasizes business, event management, well-being, and talent development through gameplay. She also serves as the facilitator of the high school esports teams, nurturing the next generation of esports talent.
In addition to her teaching roles, Liesbeth is a member of the Board of Directors at Gamehive.be, where she focuses on motivating and developing young talent through video games. Her work aligns perfectly with the goals of BESF, where she will be the primary point of contact for educators and schools seeking to incorporate esports into their curricula.
Liesbeth’s expertise and vision are invaluable as BESF continues to advocate for the positive impact of esports in education. We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the innovative strategies and insights she will bring to our federation.
