BESF Introduces Two New Faces to Its Leadership Team
The Belgian Esports Federation (BESF) is proud to announce the appointment of two dynamic individuals to key positions within its organizational structure. Nicolay Van Reckem joins as the Key Stakeholder Manager and Events Coordinator, while Hendrik Noben steps into the role of Team Manager for Counter-Strike, replacing Anton Van Gorp.
Nicolay Van Reckem brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in event management and stakeholder engagement from 666 gamers. With a proven track record of organizing LAN events and engaging grassroots communities, Nicolay is well-equipped to enhance the BESF's connections within the Esports industry. His strategic vision and proactive approach ensure the delivery of memorable experiences for players, fans, and stakeholders alike.
"In the years I've been involved in our local esports scene, I've always heard everyone say that what we need is more cooperation. I think this is where the biggest assignment of the BESF lies: getting stakeholders around the table, defining common goals and facilitating partnerships. Joining Nicolay is Hendrik Noben, who assumes the role of National Team Manager for Counter-Strike, replacing Anton Van Gorp. Hendrik brings with him a remarkable track record, having previously served as the head coach in Counter-Strike for KRC Genk Esports. His experience and expertise in strategic leadership and player development will be instrumental in guiding the BESF's Counter-Strike team to new heights of success.
